RENOVATION

This 11,000 square foot building was built in 1940 and most recently served as the home of First Federal Savings and Loan until their move in 2016. In 2022 Mountain Association purchased the property and began plans to renovate and develop spaces for business, retail, and residential use. The sophisticated design for the building includes space for a restaurant, ballroom/meeting space, multiple businesses—including Mountain Association’s Hazard office—and a rooftop bar. CDBG funds are involved in this project.
