RENOVATION

Our goal for this project was to maximize the improvement of an existing, sprawling school building that suffered from poor infrastructure (failing HVAC, poor lighting, non-ADA compliance) and an overall drab aesthetic - within a reasonable, but limited budget. The best opportunities were found in focusing on 2 particularly-dated wings, one of which was constructed in the 1950’s. The project included an overhaul of the HVAC and electrical systems, selective demolition of a classroom for a new “educational hub”, and much-needed pragmatic repairs to modernize this building into an exciting and functional 21st-century school.
