RENOVATION

Following their purchase of the Corbin Intermediate School building, Freedom Point Church contracted Deco Architects to design the conversion from school building to church building including a large, contemporary Sanctuary and welcoming Lobby space. This presented challenges specific to acoustics and space planning. By utilizing much of the existing structure, construction costs were able to be controlled. New lighting and acoustic controls were provided in the new Sanctuary space and the existing lobby expanded to include a coffee bar, welcome center, lounge seating, and children’s church check in station.
