OAK HILL BAPTIST CHURCH

It is a common to find that churches, especially those built in the 1960’s or before, are prone to having undersized foyers.  This can be problematic, as the spaces become cramped, and therefore encourage people to quickly exit the space after services, in lieu of fellowshipping with others.  As churches have grown and transitioned to hosting multiple services, it further complicates the issue.  In this project, we worked within the existing building footprint to re-imagine the foyer.  With new finishes and lighting, selective wall demolition, a modern fireplace, and the enclosure of the existing porch, the foyer is now spacious, inviting, and exciting.
